Super excited to celebrate a successful first year of Decatur Moves!

Happy birthday, Decatur Moves 🥳

One year ago, we launched our on-demand microtransit service, connecting residents and visitors all across Decatur and Macon County. In one year, we moved over 170,000 passengers across more than 160,000 total trips while averaging 500 passengers each day!

We recognize a possible need to expand, and we look forward to future service enhancements such as extended hours, and more vehicles & drivers on the road.

Here's to many more years of Decatur Moves! Visit www.DecaturMoves.com to learn more and book your ride today.

All transit services CLOSED on Monday, September 7. No buses, Decatur Moves, or Operation Uplift. Back open September 8.

Way to go, Mason!

Meet Mason Mears 👋 He is a Transit Fleet Mechanic, helping maintain and keep all transit vehicles on the road, including buses, Decatur Moves vans, and other transit support vehicles. Mason has been with the City for 6 months.

What he likes best about Decatur: "I grew up here and working in public transit I get to see a lot of familiar faces. I like that we are such a tight-knit community."

We hope you enjoy getting to know our team!
