The highly anticipated inaugural cohort for Agnes Scott College’s Mary Lou Cornwall Hawkes ‘65 and James B. Hawkes Physician Assistant Program has arrived!

The College welcomed the Class of 2028 during the Cornwall Hawkes PA Program Orientation on October 13. While many are new to Agnes Scott, four recent alumni joined this cohort – two Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Allied Health and two undergraduate students.

The Graduate Studies Department is thrilled to welcome this cohort and to begin a new legacy for the Agnes Scott community. Learn more about the Cornwall Hawkes PA Program by visiting agnesscott.edu/pa and attending an upcoming event.

Congratulations to our Bellringer, Nailah Desamu-Thorpe, PB'26! She has been accepted into Meharry Medical College's Master of Medical Sciences Program.

Graduate and Post-Bacc Students participate in this long-standing Bellringing tradition in Main Hall to celebrate their achievements from their time at Agnes.

Just over a month ago, we celebrated as the seats in Presser Hall and under the big tent at Commencement filled with our Class of 2026 Post-Baccalaureate and Medical Science master's students. Now, the cycle of excellence continues as new seats are filled in the classroom, this time with our incoming Class of 2027!

As with so many remarkable pre-medical and pre-allied health students who choose Agnes Scott, this class arrived engaged, energized, and ready to take on the work ahead on their path to becoming the next doctor, dentist, PA, or vet. We love seeing that drive in action. One student told us on just day four that they were already building healthy habits to stay strong throughout the rigor of their program!

Welcome to the Agnes Scott family, Class of 2027! We can't wait to cheer you on as you begin this exciting journey toward new heights. 🎉

Stay tuned as we highlight stories about our new incoming class throughout the year.

It's time for a new season. If you're ready to change careers, here's what it can look like at Agnes Scott. From presenting your research to getting ready for your LPC licensure, you'll find that your future is here.

The historic graduate Class of 2026 includes students completing their Master of Science in Medical Science program, many on their way to becoming doctors (MDs and DOs).

Through linkage programs with MD-granting institutions, as well as partnerships with osteopathic medicine schools like the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), Agnes Scott students are building strong paths into medicine.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 students who received early acceptance into NYITCOM and PCOM!

It's been a month since Agnes Scott College celebrated a landmark milestone at the 2026 Graduate Commencement on May 16th — the largest graduate class in the College's history.

Among the nearly 100 students who crossed the stage, 73 earned their Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, ready to address one of today's most urgent needs: accessible, quality mental health care. One Decatur-based site hired three Agnes Scott interns as full-time counselors upon graduation and has committed to partnering exclusively with Agnes Scott’s program going forward. That kind of endorsement speaks volumes.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 — the counseling field is stronger because you're in it!
