FIGHTING ILLINI PRIDE WITH A PURPOSE! 🧡💙🩸

Y’all know how much I LOVE representing the Orange & Blue, and I’m especially proud to rock this exclusive Fighting Illini GIVE BLOOD T-shirt in support of the Abbott & Big Ten blood donation competition!

This is bigger than sports. It’s about bringing our communities together, supporting one another, and making a difference that can literally SAVE LIVES!

Whether we’re cheering on our Fighting Illini on game day or rolling up our sleeves to donate blood, every contribution matters!

📸 And a SPECIAL shoutout to my girl Ashley Ray, Director of Photography for Illinois Athletics, who somehow ALWAYS manages to capture my good sides! 😂😂 Ashley, I appreciate you and your incredible talent! You keep making me look good out here! LOL!

Now I’m calling on ALL of Illini Nation, alumni, students, faculty, staff, fans, family, and friends!

Consider donating blood if you’re eligible.

Represent our Fighting Illini!

Let’s help our university compete for another BIG TEN victory while doing something meaningful for others!

Because the greatest victories aren’t always measured on a scoreboard!

I-L-L!

This year's Boos & Business Gala includes a familiar voice for the evening. Terrance "TAT" Taylor will serve as DJ and emcee.

The night is a chance to recognize the members reaching milestone anniversaries in 2026, all at the Mt. Zion Convention Center on Friday, October 30. Doors open at 5:45 PM, with cocktails at 6:00, dinner at 7:00, and the program beginning at 7:30.

Registration is open now at https://business.decaturchamber.com/events/details/boos-business-gala-2026-6024.

Let’s get active & vote.

I VOTED!

Now I’m calling on YOU. MY COMMUNITY. Get up. Get out. And VOTE!

I say this every time because I believe it wholeheartedly: EVERY election is an important election. Presidential elections. Midterms. Primaries. Municipal elections. School boards. Judges. Referendums. Local races. ALL OF IT MATTERS.

There is no election where we should convince ourselves, “My vote doesn’t matter,” or “I’ll catch the next one.” Democracy isn’t something we participate in only when the whole country is watching. It requires us to show up every single time we have the opportunity.

And especially in this election, don’t sit this one out.

Your vote is your voice. Your vote impacts your family, your neighborhood, your schools, your community, and the generations coming behind us. We may not all vote the same—and that’s democracy—but we should ALL participate.

So do your research. Know what and who is on your ballot. Talk to your family and friends. Take somebody with you. And then…

GET UP. GET OUT. GO VOTE! 🗳️

I did my part. Now it’s your turn. ✊🏾

THE FUTURE OF ILLINI BASKETBALL… with a little DJ energy mixed in!

One of my favorite parts of DJing & co-emceeing the Celebration of Giving was getting a chance to connect with some of our Fighting Illini Men’s Basketball squad — Andrej Stojakovic, David Mirkovic & Zvonimir Ivisic!

And I’ve gotta give a special shoutout to David Mirkovic because not only can he hoop… MY GUY IS A DJ TOO! 😂🎧🔥

So naturally, when two DJs get together, we’ve gotta talk music, mixes, and the craft! I’m looking forward to seeing what David does both on the court AND behind the decks. Maybe we’ll have to get a DJ TAT x DJ David set going one day. 👀😂

Great young men, great energy, and I’m excited to watch this squad represent the Orange & Blue this season!
