Celebrate any special occasion in this lovely federal style antebellum home circa 1820 located in downtown Decatur. The large outdoor patio is lovely for both a ceremony and reception and can be tented if desired. Separate dining room, banquet room and front parlor with fireplaces. We invite you to slip back into Atlanta’s past and enjoy the atmosphere and history surrounding this house. The proceeds from the rental of the Mary Gay House benefits the work of the Junior League of DeKalb County. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest and commitment to voluntarism. Due to decisions beyond our control. Guest of 716 West are no longer permitted to park at St. Thomas More Church. This restriction is effective immediately as of October 9th, 2026.
Our guests will be able to access FREE parking along both sides of the street on West Trinity Place and West Ponce De Leon.
Please adhere to City of Decatur Ordinances for parking guidelines that may affect local residences.
We understand that this may create some inconveniences with our guests. BUT parking is abundant along both sides of the street as well as at the intersections nearby.
We thank the clergy & parishioners of STM for their assistance with shared parking through the years.
Communities grow, change, and redirect their needs, and we will adapt.
