BrushPile Jigs customer Richy Funkhouser squeezed in some fishing before work and landed some nice crappie. Every one went back in the water to catch another day!

🎣 Tip of the day: Add a colander to your fish-cleaning system!

After filleting your fresh catch, a clean colander makes a quick rinse and drain easy. Remove the knives and blades first, then rinse the fillets with a gentle flow of cold, clean drinking water. Let it drain through instead of leaving the fillets soaking.

Pat dry, cover and refrigerate promptly at 40°F or below. Wash your hands, then clean and sanitize the colander, tools and sink when you're done.

The setup:
• 1/16 oz chartreuse jighead
• 1/2 oz weight above the jig
• Orange Sunrise Dart

Fish with confidence, but stay willing to change where you look. Yesterday, open water was the answer.
