📖 ALPHA TESTERS WANTED — Help me shape The Way!

What might your life have looked like in the days of Jesus?

I’ve created The Way: A Journey of Faith, a Christian solo journaling tabletop roleplaying game, and I’m looking for people to try it FREE and share honest feedback!

Create a male or female character living in first-century Galilee. Work a trade, face family responsibilities, build relationships, and encounter the ministry of Jesus. As your character hears the Gospel, how will they respond?

✍️ Your choices become the story you write.
🃏 A regular deck of cards and one six-sided die introduce prompts and practical challenges.
🏡 Play on your own, at your own pace—no group or game master needed.

Never played anything like this? You’re welcome! If you can imagine a situation and write a few sentences, you can get started. Bring a notebook, a pen, and your Bible.

The biblical events remain unchanged; your character’s personal journey can unfold differently each time.

This is an early alpha playtest, so I need to know: What’s enjoyable? What’s confusing? Are the instructions clear? What would make it better? You don’t have to finish the whole game to give useful feedback.

👇 Download the free game book, printable booklet, and writing sheets here. You’ll also find the feedback link on the page:
https://deskatur.com/the-way-a-journey-of-faith/

Please share this with someone who enjoys faith-based storytelling, journaling, or tabletop games. I’d love your help bringing this project to life!

Draw a card. Make a choice. Write your story.

Get ready because The Messengers Radio is about to start back up with Audios and Videos. We have been doing a lot of other Ministry things as of late and have not had a lot of extra time to film and record. We are hoping to have some downtime soon. We love you guys and hope that all of these audio and videos we have produced in the past have been a blessing to you.

I am working on a complete redesign of the website and our social media branding. I would like to know what you guys think of these logos. Which one do you like and what do you not like.

This worship song, “The Lord Has Done Great Things!”, was inspired by reading Joel 2 and reflecting on God’s promise to restore, pour out His Spirit, and bring hope to His people. From what was lost to what is renewed, this song is a celebration of His faithfulness, His power, and the great things He has done.

Verse 1
Blow the trumpet, sound the call
Wake the hearts, return us all
With fasting, we cry, with weeping we pray
“Come back to the Lord,” we say

Rend our hearts and not our clothes
Mercy greater than we know
Slow to anger, rich in love
Compassion flowing from above

Pre-Chorus
Who knows if He will turn again?
Leave a blessing in His hand…

Chorus
The Lord has done great things!
We will rejoice and sing!
He restores what’s been lost in the rain
And He heals every broken place

The Lord has done great things!
Let all creation bring
Praise to the Name above all names
The Lord has done great things!

Verse 2
Fear not, land, be glad, rejoice
Hear again His mighty voice
The former rain and latter fall
He’s been faithful through it all

What the locusts stole away
He restores in greater ways
Overflowing, full and free
His provision covering me

Pre-Chorus
You will eat and be satisfied
And praise the Lord Most High…

Chorus
The Lord has done great things!
We will rejoice and sing!
He restores what’s been lost in the rain
And He heals every broken place

The Lord has done great things!
Let all creation bring
Praise to the Name above all names
The Lord has done great things!

Bridge (Joel 2:28–29 Inspired)
I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh
Sons and daughters will prophesy
Old men dream dreams again
Young men see the heavens open wide

On Your servants, on Your people
You are moving in this hour
Signs and wonders, fire and glory
We are walking in Your power

Breakdown / Worship Moment
And everyone who calls on the Name
Of the Lord shall be saved!
Yes, everyone who calls on the Name
Of the Lord shall be saved!

Final Chorus (Big Finish)
The Lord has done great things!
We will rejoice and sing!
Chains are broken, freedom reigns
Jesus, You have made a way!

The Lord has done great things!
He is our victory!
From the cross to the empty grave
The Lord has done great things!

Outro
Surely He is in our midst
We are His and He is ours
Never again ashamed we stand
Held forever in His hands

The Lord has done great things…
