Mama Bear Bakery

Reminder that all preorders, unless you specifically asked for a refund, have been pushed back to next Wednesday 11/11 for pickup, because we are in Kentucky for my grandpas services this week.

I messaged everyone through square and even messaged some through Facebook. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, I was unaware it was shared already!

So if you would like to see the Herald & Review story, here ya go! She did an amazing job with the story. Thank you! 😊

This was an amazing experience I’ll never forget. It’s also something I’m planning to make an annual project. 😊

Yes, WAND & the Herald & Review came out to cover the story! How cool is that!? So keep an eye out for when they both share their stories. ❤️

A lot of you knew that a few weeks ago, I took a last-minute trip to Kentucky to celebrate my Papaw’s 81st birthday. ❤️

At the time, I wasn’t sure if it would be the last time I saw him. Sadly, it was. My sweet Papaw passed away yesterday.

I will forever be grateful that I took that weekend off from the markets to be there. He was truly the best Papaw, and I have so many special childhood memories that I will cherish forever. That one last birthday celebration will always mean so much to me.

With his services taking place in Kentucky this week, I’ve had to reschedule all of this week’s preorders.

I just want to say thank you to every single one of you for being so understanding and allowing me to fulfill your orders next week.

Running a small business makes stepping away difficult sometimes, but family will always come first. I’m beyond thankful for this community and the grace you’ve shown me during this time. ❤️

Thanksgiving Preorders are open! Follow the link below to secure your items for 11/25/26 pickup.

Pickup will begin at 4 pm that day. Click the link to see what I’m offering. Items are limited so don’t wait to get your order in.

THESE KIDS DID SOMETHING PRETTY INCREDIBLE! ❤️

What started as a fun opportunity for Mrs. Byrne’s 4th grade class to create their very own cinnamon roll flavor turned into something so much bigger.

Together, we raised $ 1,216.20 for the Boys & Girls Club of Decatur! 🎉

And I couldn’t be more proud.

These students came up with the flavor, helped bring it to life, and got to see firsthand what happens when a community comes together for a good cause.

To everyone who ordered, donated, shared our posts, or cheered these kids on — THANK YOU. You didn’t just buy cinnamon rolls. You helped show a classroom full of kids that their ideas matter and that even at their age, they can make a real difference.

And to Mrs. Byrne and her amazing students, thank you for letting Mama Bear Bakery be a small part of something so special.

They may not fully realize the impact they’ve made, but I sure do. ❤️

From our little bakery, to their classroom, to our community. This is what it’s all about.

I will not be at the Perfect Pair today. I have the second round of cinnamon rolls to prepare for pickup tomorrow.

But I will be there next weekend for the holiday market! Mark your calendars for another great event!

When I say I couldn’t have chosen a better first teacher/school to parter with on this cinnamon roll project, I mean it!

When I got to the school today for the first round of pickups, the principal said she wanted me to see their shirts as the class was walking up to our pickup area. You guys… they had shirts made and I was completely surprised! I wasn’t expecting that at all and I even teared up. 🥹

This first year has been an amazing experience and they have set the bar high for all future schools that I partner with.

I’m sad it’s come to an end but am so grateful to have met such a wonderful group of students, school staff, and their teacher, Mrs. Byrne. ❤️

Reminder to pick up your rolls at Dansby School by 5:30 tonight! The students are waiting for you 😊
