Give yourself grace, too.

It can be easy to pour so much into- caring for others, our job, our future, our to do list, our mistakes- that we forget to care for ourselves now. We keep going, carry the weight of our responsibilities, and sometimes feel guilty for taking a moment to breathe.

But your mental health matters, too.

Give yourself Grace- permission to slow down. Take a little time for yourself. Find something that helps you breathe a little deeper, quiet the noise, and feel refreshed. Give yourself the same patience and compassion you so freely offer others.

Needing rest or support doesn’t mean you’re failing. You don’t have to have it all together to be worthy of care.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

God’s grace meets us in the hard places, too. And sometimes, part of caring for ourselves is allowing others to come alongside us, asking for help, and making space for our own needs.

This World Mental Health Day, let this be your reminder: You matter. Your mental health matters. And you deserve care, compassion, and grace, too.

At Lighthouse Acres Ministries, we believe every mom, every person, deserves to be cared for — not just for all she does for others, or what she’s done in the past, but for who she is.

Our new home is coming together, little by little. The walls are painted. Closets are in. Bedrooms are coming to life. Decor is going up. We are preparing this space for more mamas and babies who need a safe place . 🤍

But we don’t just want to give these women a place to stay. We want to give them something they may have never had before. A home that feels safe.
A room that feels like it belongs to them.
A place where their babies have a beautiful, peaceful space to sleep. A place where they are reminded that they are worthy of being cared for.
A place where they can begin to believe that their future can look different. Sometimes we only know what we know. Lighthouse Acres Ministries, Inc., we want to help these moms experience something different,a new standard, a new hope, and a new way of seeing themselves and what is possible for their lives.

As we continue putting together bedrooms and stocking the supplies, we are inviting our Lighthouse family to help us finish the home.

Back-to-School Season is Underway!

A new school year has a way of reminding us that life moves in seasons.

For some, it's exciting. For others, it's bittersweet. Routines change, schedules fill up, little ones grow a little bigger, and new chapters begin. Change isn't always easy -even when it's good.

As we step into this new season, remember that it doesn't have to be perfect. You don't have to have every answer or every routine figured out on day one. Grace goes a long way, and faithful steps forward are more important than perfect ones.

We're praying for every student, teacher, parent, and family in our community. May this school year be filled with wisdom, growth, new friendships, and the reminder that God walks with us through every season.
