🎃👻 What a spooktacular night! 👻🎃

We love partnering with our local agencies (Goodwill Industries International and Full Circle Services) to host fun quarterly events and this time, it was our turn! We were thrilled to host our **second Halloween dance**, and it was an absolute blast! 🕸️🧡

From delicious Halloween treats and a fantastic DJ thank you, Carter Nolan! 🎶 to silly photos at our balloon arch thank you, Sydney Marie Imoehl! 🎈📸
The evening was filled with laughter, fun, and wonderful memories.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Halloween dance and can’t wait to make it even more memorable! 🎃✨

Happy Halloween from our Day Hab crew! 🎃👻
We spent the week preparing for our Halloween party and enjoying plenty of festive activities. Art was, of course, a group favorite! We also visited a few local coffee stops and had a slimy, spooky time carving pumpkins. 🖌️☕️🧡

Day hab spent time Experimenting with salt water painting techniques today! 🎨 The way the salt interacts with the paint creates the most amazing textures. Loving these spooky Halloween creations! 🕸️✨

Someone call the cleanup crew, because things just got a little bit messy! 🧻😂
I think they might have gone a little overboard with the toilet paper At day hab, but hey, at least we officially have a mummy ready to roll into the spooky season! I🧟‍♂️✨

Unleashing ghostly creativity! 👻✨ Our Dayhab clients channeled their inner artists today to sculpt these enchanting little ghosts using clay and a whole lot of imagination.

Each tiny spirit was hand crafted with care before being tucked into their own miniature, mossy little worlds inside these jars. It was such a joy to watch everyone’s unique artistic skills shine as they brought these ghostly little friends to life! From the tiny sculpted details to the whimsical setups, these little jars are absolutely Enchanting. 🎃☁️

Snap, Crackle, and Pumpkin' Dayhab clients had a blast today with a pumpkin bucket toss! 🎃 Since throwing real pumpkins would have been a little too silly, we used bean bags instead. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with great laughs and plenty of fun Halloween chatter! 🍂✨

Spooky season is in full swing at Dayhab! 🦇✨
Our talented clients spent the day exploring the night sky through their own unique artistic lenses. From deep indigo depths to bright, whimsical stars and flying bats, every single piece is completely original and full of personality. It is so inspiring to see such creativity and joy shining through these colorful masterpieces!

Our Day Hab clients have been busy creating these adorable ghostly family portraits! 👻🖼️ It was so much fun seeing everyone use their creativity to bring these little spooky families to life using mixed media techniques. By layering different textures and paper elements, each client added their own unique artistic flair to their work!

This week, Day Hab had the incredible opportunity to visit our local police station (Decorah Police Department) and watch an exciting K-9 training demonstration featuring dogs from neighboring counties! 🐕‍🦺🚓

We are so grateful to Code Blue K9 for sharing their time, expertise, and knowledge with our clients. Their dogs are wonderfully trained, and the time they took to explain everything and answer questions made the experience even more meaningful. Thank you for an educational and memorable visit! 👏💙

Right on track with our Halloween celebrations! 👻 Today, we learned about ghosts and discovered that they aren’t always invisible sometimes they can be seen gooey and cheesy right in front of your face!

Our clients took their time, one by one, making their very own ghost shaped cheese quesadilla. What a great opportunity to practice following directions, building independence, and enjoying a fun Halloween-themed activity! 🧀🎃
