Little Bit the other evening. I was trying to get a couple of good pics of a different goat and she just kept looking so stunning in the evening light, I grabbed a quick pic. Turned out pretty good. The other doeling I was trying to get pics of….. not so much! lol

Serenade went to North Star this year. I took her to Night Cap last year and got twin polled daughters. Both very well put together. I wouldn’t mind a second litter of twin doelings especially polled!

When you get yelled at for eating the wall. You look away in the most innocent fashion. Like you weren’t just caught red handed eating the wall. Or like you might find the real culprit for eating the wall in the far left corner. lol not fooling anyone Dirty Chai!

When your a young buck and you have a next door neighbor you aspire to be like! lol Habanero is checking to see if any of the other boy’s gals are in heat and little Copernicus is looking up to him admiringly. He was an early summer kid so smaller but has big aspirations! He wants to be like Habanero! 😂

Nocturne is posing in the fading evening light. Loved the lighting and the capture. Would love to know what she was thinking while standing there.

Martini has one of the best profiles and such long lovely ears! She is officially a keeper doeling. Her story is interesting. Due to life being life, I had decided to sell her early as she was a bottle kid. I was needing to keep my bottle kid population low. Had numerous people speak for her. Several got to where I was waiting on a down payment but time after time sales kept falling through. Never her fault just life being life for the buyers. I never advertised her because every time a sale fell through and I was just about to advertise her another sale fell in my lap…. then fell back out again. While all this was going on she just kept getting better and better. I was wanting to keep at least one doeling from my new buck Raising Arrows Night Cap. But I was fairly determined to sell her as the other one I was planning on keeping was dam raised and not friendly. Both were very nice so neither one was enough better than the other. So neither were an obvious choice that way. So I was looking for something else to help me decide. I don’t mind a dam raised ff. The wild ones are a fun challenge and if you do it right they become well functioning members of society that will accept anyone milking them with ease. But they aren’t for everyone so bottle babies are easier to sell in general. And like I said she was spoken for many times. So with fall staring me down and hay ridiculously expensive, I was still determined to sell her. Then the other doe developed an issue (RagTime) and she was no longer a viable option to keep. Lucky for me Martini was still unsold again. So after so many sales and so many sales falling through much to my delight Martini is officially sticking around. Really excited to see how she grows!

Celestial Song one of the polled keeper doelings getting a drink while I top off their water tank. One of the best fall evenings. Warm with a touch of briskness.

Heart of the Forest is a lovely polled doelings that I’m keeping. I love that she is polled! I like her structure and her dam has a lovely udder! Can’t wait to see how she grows. She has a beautiful head and long ears but definitely has quite a bit of ear control lol.
