You're invited to the biggest Scouting party on the air: please join us October 17 for JOTA-JOTI 2026!
JOTA-JOTI (Jamboree on the Air – Jamboree on the Internet) is the world’s largest digital Scout event, bringing together more than two million young people from over 170 countries every year. JOTA-JOTI is all about communication, cooperation, and discovery — whether you’re talking over amateur radio, chatting online, or joining one of the many live workshops, games, or cultural exchanges.
All Scouts in uniform (Class A or B) will be admitted to the IMAG free! All other admission is regular price. All Scouts in uniform (Class A or B) will be admitted to the IMAG free! All other admission is regular price.
Participants will take turns contacting scouts around the community, nation, and the world, with the help of radio operators from our very own local Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club & the Amateur Radio Emergency Services! ARES will also give a special presentation on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness. Learn about the use of this often-overlooked technology during disasters, and how radio saves lives. The event will cover parts of the Radio (9a&d) and Citizenship in the World (7e) merit badges for Scouting America, and parts of Section 2 of the Radio & Wireless Technology Patch for Girl Scouts.
Jamboree in the Internet (JOTI) will also be available in 20-minute sessions for scouts only, following Scouting America Safe JOTI guidelines.
The excitement doesn’t end at closing time; we’re jumping timezones. Return with your previously-issued wristband for a 7-9 PM evening JOTA-JOTI session to meet Scouts who are just starting their day!
For more details about the event, visit https://theimag.org/jota-joti-2026/; to pre-register your troop, please email Scout liaison Carol Morin: [email protected], with your Troop #, Scoutmaster, City, & attendance numbers. Pre-registered troops will receive a Leader’s Guide with the schedule, QSL Logcard, Ham Radio Terms, Phonetic Alphabet, Morse Code, and more! One registration per troop, please.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to party, assuming among the powers of the earth the celebration of achievement to which the Cause of Education entitles them, a decent respect to the enjoyment of their community requires that they should declare the causes which impel them...
Save the Date! IMAG is Partying Like It's 1776 this November 13, 2026. Impelled by our love of bringing more educational programs to you every year, we need your support! Attendance, sponsorship, and donation of auction items all help us build up our revolutionary science education initiatives.
