The MTC is using 2021 to phase in full accessibility for those with disabilities and special needs. The Rocky Mountain Cable Association was rebranded to become the Media+Tech Collective of the Rockies in January 2021 to meet the changing needs of its members in an evolving industry. Industry members, companies, vendors and support services in all areas of the industry (video, streaming, data, voice, mobile, IOT, web services, etc) in all functional areas (sales, marketing, product, IT, HR, software development, finance, and more) are welcome and supported by MTC. The RMCA was established in January 2012 as a local successor to the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing Rocky Mountains chapter (CTAMRM). Don't let this opportunity pass you by. Your next career-changing experience could start with a single application.
09/14/2026
Meet MacKenzie Roebuck-Walsh, a former Media Tech Collective Innovation Challenge winner whose experience became the launchpad for her consulting career.
While completing her MBA, MacKenzie entered the Innovation Challenge with a goal of breaking into consulting. Winning the competition led to a paid internship and ultimately a full-time consulting role.
But the impact went beyond career opportunities.
The experience helped her strengthen critical skills in problem-solving, teamwork, presentation development, and executive communication while building valuable professional relationships.
As MacKenzie reflects:
"Winning the Innovation Challenge turned an MBA experience into a career opportunity. It gave me the chance to prove what I could do and opened the door to consulting."
For anyone considering participation, her advice is simple: treat it as more than a competition. It's a chance to showcase your abilities, expand your network, and create opportunities that can shape your future.
The next Innovation Challenge could be your opportunity to do the same.
