Want to look and feel vibrant? Foot Detoxes, Dry blood analysis, iteracare wanding & Zyto scans! Now the sky is the limit!
My interest in the natural health field came to light in 2006, when I was faced with health challenges. My first attempt to getting better was with traditional western medicine. After 2 years of feeling frustrated not having results, I felt this desire to stop masking the issue and find a way to the root of the problem, so I could heal. I crossed paths with an exceptional Holistic Dr and with her guidance, I was well on my way to healing my body, with swift results! I was so alive with how well I felt and the techniques used, just intrigued me! It was at that moment I just knew what my heart desired; it was to help people heal and feel vibrant! I had a passion for learning more about alternative medicine, so I went to school! First I became a CNHP (Certified Natural Health Practitioner) I graduated in 2009. That led me to further my education to become an ND (Doctor of Naturopathy) I Graduated in 2015. My mission is to facilitate people on their path to optimal health. I am a firm believer that your health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When a person is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the soul can open, and only then can you heal.

ππ BURNING LEAVES: THAT FALL SMELL MAY NOT BE SO HEALTHY! ππ
Good Evening, Group Friends! πΏ
Fall is such a beautiful time of year! The changing colors, crisp autumn air, and falling leaves are all reminders of the season.
But there's one fall tradition that may be doing more harm than good... BURNING LEAVES! π₯π
To me, burning leaves, it was just part of autumn! However, after learning more about what happens when leaves burn and how the smoke affects our bodies, I look at it very differently today.
π¬οΈ WHAT REALLY HAPPENS WHEN WE BURN LEAVES?
Burning leaves releases a mixture of pollutants into the air, including:
π Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) β Tiny particles that can travel deep into the lungs and even enter the bloodstream.
π Carbon Monoxide β A gas that interferes with the body's ability to transport oxygen.
π Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) β Chemicals that can irritate the respiratory system and contribute to air pollution.
π Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) β Compounds produced during incomplete burning, some of which are known to increase cancer risk with sufficient exposure.
π Smoke and Ash β Airborne particles that can irritate the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs.
And here's something important to remember...
You don't have to be the person burning the leaves to be affected!
Smoke can travel through neighborhoods, affecting children, older adults, individuals with asthma, and anyone sensitive to air pollution.
π« YOUR LUNGS ARE WORKING HARDER THAN YOU THINK!
When we inhale smoke, microscopic particles can reach deep into our respiratory system.
Our bodies have natural defense mechanisms to remove inhaled particles, but repeated exposure can contribute to inflammation and respiratory problems.
Some common symptoms of smoke exposure include:
βοΈ Burning or watery eyes
βοΈ Scratchy throat
βοΈ Coughing or wheezing
βοΈ Sinus irritation
βοΈ Headaches
βοΈ Increased asthma or allergy symptoms
π LET'S TALK ABOUT MOLD HIDING IN THOSE FALL LEAVES!
Here's something many people don't realize...
As leaves fall, become damp, and begin decomposing, they create an environment where molds naturally grow.
When we rake, blow, or disturb those leaves, mold spores can become airborne.
For someone sensitive to mold, breathing in those spores may trigger:
π Sneezing and congestion
π Itchy or watery eyes
π Sinus pressure
π Coughing
π Asthma flare-ups
π Allergy-like symptoms
Sometimes what feels like a seasonal cold may actually be an allergic response to environmental triggers.
A helpful tip: If you're raking leaves, consider wearing a well-fitting N95 mask, especially if you have seasonal allergies or respiratory sensitivities.
πΏ HOW CAN WE NATURALLY SUPPORT OUR BODIES DURING THE FALL SEASON?
Our bodies are wonderfully designed with natural systems that help protect us every day.
Here are some simple ways to support those systems:
π Hydration β Drinking adequate water helps maintain healthy mucus membranes and supports normal bodily functions.
π Antioxidant-Rich Foods β Colorful vegetables, berries, citrus fruits, and leafy greens provide nutrients that support normal immune function.
π Vitamin C and Zinc β Important nutrients for maintaining healthy immune defenses. Using Plant DNA Lozenges AIR and ALT
π Gut Health β A balanced diet rich in fiber and fermented foods can help support a healthy gut microbiome, which plays a role in immune health.
π Restful Sleep β Your immune system depends on adequate rest and recovery.
π Reduce Exposure β Avoid outdoor activities when smoke is present, and consider using a HEPA air purifier indoors.
I believe it's important to look at the whole picture when supporting wellness, including nutrition, digestion, sleep, lifestyle, and individual health concerns.
π WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITH ALL THOSE FALL LEAVES INSTEAD?
Rather than burning them, consider:
πΏ Mulching them into your lawn
πΏ Adding them to a compost pile
πΏ Using them as garden mulch
πΏ Taking advantage of local leaf collection programs
Leaves are a wonderful natural resource that can help improve soil health when properly composted!
π MY FINAL THOUGHT...
We spend so much time thinking about what we put INTO our bodies, but we also need to think about what we are BREATHING INTO our bodies.
Clean air matters!
Protecting our lungs, reducing unnecessary chemical exposure, and making small changes in our everyday habits are all part of creating a healthier environment for ourselves and future generations.
π Enjoy the beauty of autumn... without filling the air with smoke! π
β¨ Always Remember... Have a Beautiful and Blessed Day! β¨

π Who Has a Lawn Full of Clover? π
Raise your hand if your yard is covered in clover! πββοΈ
While some people consider clover a w**d, it's actually one of nature's little treasures. πΏ
π Bees LOVE it! Clover provides an important source of nectar for pollinators, helping support healthy bee populations.
π± Natural Fertilizer β Clover pulls nitrogen from the air and returns it to the soil, naturally feeding your lawn and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.
π Medicinal Benefits β Traditionally, clover has been used to: β¨ Support the respiratory system β¨ Promote a healthy immune system β¨ Help soothe irritated skin β¨ Provide antioxidant support
β Favorite Ways to Use It β’ Dry the blossoms and make a mild, pleasant tea β’ Infuse into oils and create soothing homemade salves β’ Add to herbal blends with lemon balm, mint, or chamomile
The next time you see a yard full of clover, don't be so quick to get rid of itβit may be one of the healthiest things growing in your lawn! πππΈ
Tell me... Do you love clover in your yard, or are you trying to get rid of it? ππ
