Fox Run Riding

An unlikely pair 🤔 Dawson has watched enough lessons, I guess he picked up on a few skills along the way 😁

Fall trail rides are my favorite 😍🍁🍂

Every other horse in the barn is working hard on this beautiful Saturday....except Millie.

Millie is snuggled in, snoozin' hard. 🤦‍♀️ After her night of rolling in mud, of course.

⚜️Congratulations, Rowynn!!⚜️
This young rider has worked so hard to complete Red Level in Horsemanship. Her test consisted of an equitation pattern, a jump pattern, and a few random objectives from her Red Level checklist.

We are all so proud of you!

On to the next level!

Does it still count as if it only happened 2 months ago? Asking for a friend 🙃

Last HH show for some of Fox Run's Finest!
🧡 Emma - deserved winning ride in her over fences class
🧡 Ellie and Neo's First show together earning a 2nd in her Eq Over Fences and more ribbons on the flat.
🧡 Scarlet and Mojito continue to work together achieving nice courses and smooth flat rides!
🧡 Harper earning 4th on her 1st w/t/c class ever!

Well done everyone 👏

Photos credit to Meredith Harris and a parent who captured one of my favorite pictures of three friends enjoying the beauty of a sunrise, while waiting for the trailer. Surely talking about the exciting day ahead.

CONGRATULATIONS!

⚜️Hailey & Penny - 3rd out of 29

⚜️Lola & A Near Miss - 4th and 9th out of 29

First time at Colonial Classic and both riders stepped into huge competivie classes and came out with big smiles and so much love for their horses.

What a weekend to remember! So proud of these two!

Now...if only their coach could post on Facebook a little quicker🤦‍♀️ 😂

I love teaching ALL my lessons- but this group is one of the most entertaining ones 🤣

You never know what will be said, what we will jump, or what horse is even stepping off the trailer that morning!!

Thank you for giving me an hour of pure laughter and fun!

When your pony doesn't feeling "pony-ing" it makes it real hard to persevere with a smile. But this girl did it. For whatever reason Mojito decided to love grooming and showmanship (something she usually hates) and decided to be difficult with the things she usually loves 🤦‍♀️

Horses are humbling, this sport is hard, and when its time for a picture at the end of the day, instead of frustration, you see a smile. You see them care for their horse without attitude, without any fuss. Proof that they have what it takes to make it through the tough days.

Way to go, Lola. You are an incredible horse woman!

🍀Congratulations, Addie! 🍀
4H County Round Up

Not only was this her very FIRST horse show, but she decided to try a little bit of everything! From Grooming & Showmanship to Trail, Equitation, and Pleasure classes, she stepped into each class with confidence and did an incredible job 👏

We're so excited to announce that she's qualified for Districts!

We are so proud of all your hard work and willingness to challenge yourself. Congratulations, Addie—next adventure- Districts!
