This minus 1 trick only works more efficiently with numbers ending in zeros, but hey…at least it eliminates regrouping 😊

This isn’t taught in many schools but it’s a quicker, sure fire way to get the answer eliminating unnecessary steps! I learned it this way in school in the UK. Have you used short division?

Improper fractions, more often than not, must be converted to a mixed fraction, and this is how. Save this for your child’s next fractions worksheet.

You try: Name a number that is BOTH a factor of 24 and a multiple of 6.

A classic student trap is flipping the first fraction instead of the second one when dividing. Remember the golden rule of “keep, change, flip!” Drop a 👍🏽 if this helps 😊
