Let’s talk medical. Frankly, it’s not talked about enough and certainly not trained even close to enough.

Rather than complain about it, we include a med block in EVERY class at Thunder Ranch. It’s that important.

For 2027 we’re taking it a step further: everyone in every class will be required to have an approved tourniquet on their person during class. It sounds drastic; but we believe this should be a bare minimum requirement across the board! Ideally, we recommend having a tourniquet in your person at ALL times- both on and off the range.

Don’t have a TQ yet? No problem, you can add one to your registration (at a discounted price) during class sign up, purchase in the pro shop when you arrive for class, or buy online at TRAINTR.com

Want to buy your own before you arrive? That’s cool too but whatever you do, DO NOT buy your tourniquets off Amazon. Full stop.

LE Sniper is a wrap. These guys hit 50 hours in 4 days and walked away with a much higher level of confidence, knowledge and preparedness for the task in front of them. In typical fashion a couple of them got called out during class. Long days and long nights. Solid work fellas.

The M1 Carbine is often called anemic by those who have no actual idea of what this cartridge is capable of, but highly regarded by those on both the giving and receiving end. This little guy saw service in the hands of many soldiers, Marines, law enforcement, regular folks, and countless others over the better half of the last 80 years.

Boasting about double the energy of a 45 ACP (God’s Gun), the platform is lightweight, nearly zero recoil, and easy to shoot and manipulate with little training. It is an excellent choice for folks of small stature, or those living in prohibited states, plus they are fun to shoot.

We are offering this course in our Urban R***e format. Similar class, different r***e, plus a ton of historical information regarding the development, manufacture, usage, and modern applications of the format.

Bring a good reliable (lol)r***e, lots of good mags and your favorite carriage platform and you are basically good to go. Ammo is included in the cost of the course!
