Our story began in 1952 with Joyce Equipment, followed by Industrial Plant Service, Inc. in 1964. From storing and renting equipment to moving industrial and metalworking machinery, those early businesses laid the foundation for a family tradition spanning three generations.
In 1982, Industrial Plant Service Machinery Movers continued that tradition—building experience, earning customers’ trust, and developing relationships that would last for decades.
When Industrial Plant Service retired, Equip Trucking & Warehousing welcomed its experienced employees, some of whom had been with the business for 20–30 years. Our original focus was trucking and storage, but longtime customers soon started calling for rigging and machinery moving. With a skilled crew and generations of experience behind us, we answered the call.
That work became a cornerstone of our business and led to the name Equip Rigging & Machinery Moving.
These photos offer a look back at the work behind that history. Today, we proudly carry forward 74 years of family roots in machinery, built on experience, dependable service, and lasting relationships.
Thank you to the crews, customers, and family members who helped build this legacy—and everyone helping us continue it today. 🤝
