🧸Library Littles
📅 Every Thursday
🕑 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM

Songs, books, and activities for toddlers and preschoolers!

Bring your littles to the library at whichever time works best for you - 9:30AM or 5:30PM - for a world of learning and fun! Library Littles always has a storytime, but it’s also so much more. Every week will present your kiddos with something new, like songs and dances to promote gross motor skills, crafts to practice creativity and fine motor skills, and other fun and educational activities!

-Geared towards Toddlers and Preschoolers
-Sign-ups not required
-All supplies provided, but it’s suggested to wear play clothes in case we have a messy craft or snack
-Every Thursday at 9:30AM and 5:30PM

We promised a mess at our Messy Art Program earlier this month, and we got it!

The kids had a blast doing all kinds of crafts that you normally wouldn't get to do at home! Or at least, not without a lot of clean up. Kids rotated between activities, starting with finger painting and then spin painting, where you drip paint on a canvas and then spin it to fling the paint in all directions! Luckily we had a little contraption made just for spin art, so we didn't end up with paint on the walls (this time). We also did "face painting" and made pumpkins with foam paint!

There's been a pirate in the Library!

But don't worry, it's Scavenger the friendly Pirate! Scavenger is November's special Reading Dragons Card, and to earn him, you'll have to find all the treasure he's lost around the Library. Come and complete a scavenger hunt any time between November 2nd - November 25th to add him to your deck!

Reading Dragons & Friends is a reading program where you or your child tracks time spent reading and spends it on collectible cards. Message us here on Facebook, come by the Library, or call us at 606-787-9381 for more information!

🐲Dungeons and Dragons

Retro is making a comeback!

At one of our recent Teen Art programs, we made a crowd favorite: perler bead art! Now more often known as fuse beads, perler beads were huge in the 80s and 90s, and are now having a huge resurgence. You can make anything with them, from animals to video game art to original designs! As one of our talented teens show here, you can even make 3D designs with some planning and creativity.

Don't miss our next Teen Art on November 9th, where we'll be making Leaf Masks!
