Prima Dance Co

Happy Halloween from all of us at Prima! We hope your day is packed with costumes, candy, and a whole lot of fun.

To our dancers: we hope you dance your way through every doorbell tonight. And to our families: thank you for being part of our Prima family. Moments like these, silly, spooky, and full of joy, are what community is all about.

Stay safe, have a blast, and we will see you back in the studio soon.

Today dancers and companies around the world celebrate World Ballet Day, a global tribute to the art form that lies at the heart of everything we teach.

Ballet is where it all begins. The strength, the grace, the discipline, the musicality, every dancer who steps into any style carries the foundation that ballet gives them. It is why our ballet program follows the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, taught by ABT certified teachers who honor the technique, the terminology, and the centuries of artistry behind every plié.

To our ballet dancers: we see your dedication, and we could not be prouder of you. And to anyone who has ever dreamed of dancing, there is no more beautiful place to begin.

Happy World Ballet Day from all of us at Prima.

Some of the best friendships are made at the barre. You know the one: the dancer your child races to see, the partner in every combination, the friend who feels more like family by now.

Tag your dancer's dance bestie in the comments, or tag the friend you wish would join them this season. Dance is always better with your people.

And if that friend has been thinking about starting? There is still room to join. Link in bio.

Warm Ups Matter!

Every great class starts with a great warm-up. Warming up isn’t just routine—it’s essential for safe, strong, and effective dancing.

A proper warm-up helps dancers:
Increase blood flow and flexibility
Activate muscles for strength and control
Reduce the risk of injury
Set the focus and mindset for class

Dancers—make your warm-up a non-negotiable. Show up ready, prepared, and committed to giving your best every time you step into the studio.

Nothing means more to us than hearing from the families who trust us with their dancers. Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do.

If your family has a Prima story to share, we would love to hear it.

Drop it in the comments or send us a message. And if you are looking for a studio that feels like home, we would love to welcome you. Link in bio.

Spooky season is almost here, and we are celebrating the best way we know how: with a full week of dancing in costume.

The week of October 26, dancers are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to class. Twirl as a witch, leap as a superhero, plié as your favorite character. Just make sure it is comfy enough to move in.

We cannot wait to see who your dancers become. Get those costumes ready.

Lights, stage, spotlight. Our Musical Theater classes bring together theatrical tap, ballet, and jazz, all with a focus on performance quality and storytelling. Dancers learn to do more than move; they learn to command a stage.

Along the way, we explore beloved Broadway shows and the craft behind them, building the confidence and expressiveness that make a true performer. It is where triple threats begin.

Perfect for the dancer who lives to perform. Link in bio to enroll.

Rest those dancing feet! Our studio will be closed for Fall Break from October 12 through 18. No classes this week.

We hope every one of our dancers uses the time to relax, recharge, and make some sweet fall memories with family. A little rest is good for the body and the heart, and it makes coming back to the barre even more exciting.

Regular classes resume Monday, October 19. We will see you then, refreshed and ready to dance!
