Ambassadors for the Port Authority’s ACES Program are making travel less stressful at four major airports in New York and New Jersey.

From answering travelers' questions and helping them navigate terminals to assisting them with finding taxis, locating hotels and suggesting places to grab a bite to eat, our Ambassadors play a pivotal role in creating a positive experience.

Downtown Lexington Management District Ambassadors recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a luncheon to mark a decade of the hard work they do to make downtown Lexington great!

As DLMD member-at-large Beverly Fortune said, "I can't thank you enough for the invaluable role you and the Block by Block ambassadors have made to the safety, cleanliness, and friendliness of our downtown. BBB has been critical to the revitalization of downtown Lexington."

Minneapolis DID Ambassadors did it right!

The 2nd Annual Dinner Du Nord on Nicollet Mall brought together approximately 2,100 people to enjoy food from more than 40 restaurants and food trucks, and the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District (DID) Ambassadors were there every step of the way to help make the event a success.

Their impact by the numbers:

✅ Power-washed nearly two miles of Nicollet Mall in preparation for the event
✅ Emptied nearly 100 trash and recycling receptacles during the event
✅ Provided 100 hospitality assists
✅ Cleaned up nearly 20 spills
✅ Completed three safety escorts
✅ Met one mayor (Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey)

Despite the increased foot traffic and busy event atmosphere, Ambassadors remained focused on keeping the area clean, safe, and welcoming. They even took time to help an injured bird, ensuring it received the care it needed.

From preparation to cleanup, the teamwork, dedication, and pride of the Minneapolis DID Ambassadors helped create a memorable Dinner Du Nord experience for residents, visitors, and local businesses alike.

Every day, our Transit Ambassadors help thousands of people navigate their cities, whether they are traveling by bus, rail, or the subway.

They make sure transit spaces are clean, assist riders with navigating the system, and are always willing to step in when someone needs help – oftentimes, even before they ask.

What a difference a year makes!

Since the Clean and Safe Program launched in the City of Champaign, Ambassadors have been hard at work improving conditions for residents, visitors, and business owners. From graffiti and litter removal to power washing and hospitality escorts, every day is chance to make the city better than the day before. And their efforts have the numbers to back that up.

We’re proud of all they have accomplished to make their community cleaner, safer, and more vibrant!

Small but mighty.

Just two Ambassadors make up the S**O Ambassadors Team in Seattle, Washington, yet they have made a tremendous impact since the Clean Program launched in April.

Through their dedication, they have helped make the district cleaner and safer by addressing issues ranging from illegal dumping to graffiti removal and outreach efforts.

In just five months, the team has:

• Removed 232 instances of graffiti
• Power washed 2,451 block-face sidewalks
• Collected 8,042 lbs. of trash
• Removed 104 bulky items
• Interacted with the public 336 times

Also pictured is Operations Manager Fidel Peralta, who doesn’t mind stepping in to help the team get the job done. We commend the S**O Clean Team for their commitment to creating a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant district for everyone.
