During Ramadan, my team took care of me ❤️
They made sure I had food and water ready when I needed it most.
Now, as these last important days of Lent come to an end, it’s my turn to take care of them. making sure they have food that fuels their bodies and tastes just as good.

When people ask me why I don’t just cook tamales every day…
If only they knew the work that goes into it.
From roasting and cleaning dried chiles, to preparing tomatoes and husks, every step takes time. Making the masa soft and perfect, carefully filling and folding each tamal, then steaming them for over two hours — the full process takes over 9 hours.
It’s more than food. It’s patience, tradition, and respect for the process.”
