I want to pass something down.....
It has come to our attention that the Mullins Quarry in Livingston KY is private property and the owner no longer wants anyone visiting it. Admittedly we were under the assumption that the owner did not mind folks visiting it. But due to the incredible amount of graffiti and litter he is now enforcing the no trespassing. Of course when we would go I always left it better by picking up some of the trash but it's irrelevant. My understanding is there are now no trespassing signs and VU will certainly abide by the owners wishes. I also have removed it from all maps.

The lesson?
Make sure you research BEFORE you go. The MVUM map is your friend. Stay off closed or gated roads. Pay attention if trespassing signs are present. When we were there last I honestly did not see the trespassing signs. This will not hold up and is not an excuse.

Consider this a lesson learned and us doing our best to pass on the lesson.

Team 1: Rabid Raccoon
Team 2: Into the Wild

Two different groups. Two incredible adventures. Miles of Kentucky backroads, creek crossings, technical trails, beautiful camps, campfires, laughs, challenges, and the kind of memories that make these trips worth every mile.

What continues to make these rides special isn’t just the terrain. It’s the people who show up ready to explore, learn, help one another, and enjoy the journey.
