The PCCTF is a not-for-profit, community based organization, started in 1995. A second assessment was completed in 2005.
The PCCTF conducted an initial community assessment in 1996 to determine direction in working with community needs. The top idenitified needs of the community included: alcohol/substance abuse, teen-age pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, declining family values. The Task Force developed programs/services to address the identified community needs.

What is the Girl's Circle program you ask? It is a safe place where we break down walls and build self-esteem, confidence and peer connections with young women. The past couple of months we have covered topics of healthy boundaries, goals, positive vs. negative self-talk, stress/ that of which we can and cannot control, and today we were able to visit Evan's Equestrian to do team builders and process different scenarios of friendships and working together. A big thank you to Krystal, Misty and Kylee for your help today!
This is just one of the many programs that the Perry County Community Task Force offers free to the community. Prevention of substance use, building skills, empowering youth and creating positive connections helps create a stronger and healthier Perry County.
If you're interested in learning more about our programs, reach out by calling 573-547-1292 or send us a message!
