And this isn’t even the BIG purchase yet… that comes first week of August. This is just the prep work, but boy are the folks candlescience making it easy! Around 16 more pounds of wax, 6 beautiful glass pumpkin jars, and some new soap base to play around with. All to get ready for a September 1st launch 😬

When I walked into candlescience this morning, I told myself I was really only going to grab the dye I needed. I had already purchased my scents somewhere else, and my wax. I didn’t realize until it was too late that their warehouse and showroom was a 40min drive from me.

When I tell you that my whole world changed today… I walked out with 10lbs more wax, 12oz of fragrances, oh and the dye I went there to get originally.

The staff there are AMAZING. Not only did they let me select what I *thought* I wanted - they brought over things I didn’t even imagine! Their nose for scent pairings is incredible, and between my ideas and their surprise suggestions I had suddenly created from scratch a brand new seasonal scent collection and scraped all my original ideas 🤦🏻‍♀️

It is unlike anything I have ever done before. It is so rich and luxurious without feeling forced. These six scents each have their own beginning, middle, and end - and tell a story that moves with you as the season goes.

I’m so close to announcing what the concept for this collection is - and honestly today took my breath away and makes me want to skip all the rest of the behind the scenes prep and just do it already! But no. Not all my ducks are in a row. A few more to herd back into line.

My mother has been recuperating from major surgery and spent that time in bed crocheting. This beautiful lavender shawl is baby soft and so stunning in person! Only one and it’s now available Made and Found!

Sometimes it’s not even the product that is the post important - cause even if you have the best incense in the world it won’t be sold unless the packaging is right.

Many trials and errors with this one. I liked the size of the triangular one best. But stacking wise I liked the more cuboid shape. So I’m now combining the two to create the best possible choice for my branding.

Coming this fall my Wheel of the Year series will launch with SIX new scent combinations and will be available as Incense, Soaps, and Candles.

I also just couldn’t resist the pull of my former moody dark apothecary vibe, so I am also returning to my roots and have redesigned and refined my color palette and logo to again reflect the old world style that made me fall in love with my business in the first place.

Big things coming for the New Year in October. And only 4 months left to get it right! RIP and hello !
