Some of the most important work in the church happens behind the scenes.

Our church board faithfully serves year after year, often with little recognition or thanks. They do the hard work of stewarding our finances, sticking to budgets, and saying “no” when it might be easier to say “yes.”

Their wisdom and leadership are a gift to our pastor and our entire church.

They don’t serve for recognition. They serve because they love Jesus and His church.

To our board: Thank you for your faithful, often unseen service. God sees it, and we are grateful! ❤️

Ashley is the silent server, the server who works tirelessly and never demands credit. Her heart beats for our community and for Jesus. Her dedication to our church, members, and our newcomers showcases the gifts of grace and humility that the Lord has blessed her with. She may not take credit, but this will not stop us from acknowledging her servant’s heart and role as a leader in our church. Thank you, Ashley. We are a blessed community for having you.

Taking care of our campus is about caring for the community. A clean, cared-for church reflects how much we care for our community.

We are looking for people to serve 1-2x a month for a 90 minute shift: weeding and mowing. Day and time flexible! Message, email, or text us!

Paul’s relationship with Timothy serves as an example of the responsibility and the special love a teacher should have with a disciple. Angel’s engagement with his students brings guidance, love, and deep care for our youth. His ability to illustrate Scripture makes God’s word come to life in imaginative ways. The bonds that have been created due to his passionate love and teaching have cultivated true fellowship. We are grateful that our students have a “Paul” that they can look up to. Thank you for all you do, Angel.

It’s ministry appreciation month! Being a pastor’s kid holds great responsibility. They must be the light while representing their family well. The weight of being a leader can be difficult, especially when life grants them tough lessons. When members of the church leave or conflict arises, PK’s feel a heartache that they don’t share with others. We want to take a moment to acknowledge their strength and the love they bring to everyone here at Open Arms. Tennley, Lyla, Brielle, and Rowan, we are blessed to have you in our community; we pray it will be a safe space for you as you continue to grow closer to your Savior. ❤️
