Wannabe Rescued

Now that Beau's law is in effect, what is the process for reporting violations?

Several members of the community have reached out to us about dogs on illegal tethers in today's rain.

Can the Animal Shelter provide some guidance for the community?

BEAUS LAW- beginning 10/1/26

Key Requirements
• Tethering Rules: Stationary tethering is restricted. If a dog is tethered outdoors, it must use a proper trolley system with swivels on both ends to prevent tangling or strangulation.
• Prohibited Restraints: Logging chains, choke collars, and pinch collars are strictly banned for tethering.
• Food and Water: Owners must provide CONTINUOUS access to adequate, fresh food and potable water to prevent starvation or dehydration.
• Outdoor Shelter: Shelters must be dry, shaded, fully enclosed with a solid floor, adequately ventilated, clean, and appropriately sized for the dog to stand, turn around, and lie down.
• Enclosures: Fenced pens must be secure and spacious enough for the dog to move freely.

It's National Dog Day!

What we would like is for everyone that reads this, to stop and think about the dogs in shelters, the dogs thrown away like trash, the dogs wandering the streets and county roads!
PLEASE BE THEIR VOICE!
Please adopt.
Please spay and neuter!

IT'S NATIONAL DOG DAY, They deserve it everyday!!!

Please be on the lookout.

Do you remember back in the spring when Crazy Ole Ladies Dog Rescue put out a plea for help?
They pulled a pregnant dog from the shelter and she was heartworm positive and no where to go. Well Badass Animal Rescue committed to her and her unborn puppies. Fast Forward to now... Momma and her 9 (YES 9) healthy puppies have left for NY. We also are sending 3 more! So 4 adult dogs and 9 puppies have left on their freedom ride! LUCKY 13!
It takes a village and Crazy Ole Ladies Dog Rescue, Wannabe Rescued and Badass Animal pulled this one off! We appreciate all the Fosters, Veterinarians, Donators, Volunteers , Supporters and especially the Transporters for making this miracle happen!
Thank you Crazy Ole Ladies Dog Rescue for your awesome passion and Hard Work to help save as many as possible! Wannabe Rescued is thankful yall are around!
Happy Tails!
