This year’s Co-op Month theme is “Built for This Moment.” And we love that. Because co-ops were built on a pretty powerful idea: when people come together, they can create the kind of business their community needs.

Throughout October, we’ll share more about what makes co-ops different and why where you shop matters. 💚🌎

🥕🍎 Courtney here... I had to take a picture of our produce section because it just looked SO GOOD.

One of the things I love about Main Market is how much care goes into the little things. Someone took the time to arrange these pears and apples and lemons and tomatoes, check what was fresh, straighten everything and make the whole section look inviting.

And I know that might SEEM like a small thing, but I don’t think it is.

There are actual people behind every department in this store who care about the food they’re putting out and the experience you have when you walk through the door. ❤️

Sometimes when you work somewhere, you get so used to seeing it every day that you forget to really look at it.

Today I looked. And I thought, dang, our produce department looks beautiful. 🍐🍎🥕🥑

October Round Up at the Register 💚

This October, your Round Up at the Register donations will support the Spokane Long Term Recovery Group and their ongoing work helping individuals and families affected by the Spokane-area wildfires.

For many of our neighbors, the impact of those fires didn’t end when the smoke cleared. Families lost homes, property and a sense of normalcy, and the work of recovering and rebuilding continues long after the immediate emergency has passed.

That’s where long-term recovery comes in. The Spokane Regional Long Term Recovery Group helps connect people affected by disaster with resources, assistance and support as they work toward rebuilding their lives.

All month long, you can help by rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar at the register. Those few extra cents add up, and together, we can help support our Spokane neighbors who are still recovering.

Our Produce Manager gave the department a reset, and we’re kind of obsessed with how it turned out. Fresh, colorful, stocked up, and looking absolutely gorgeous.
