On the River’s Edge at the Entrance to Zion National Park
Desert Pearl Inn, on the river's edge at the entrance to Zion National Park, is a haven in the western desert for family vacations and romantic getaways. An oasis of sun hued stucco, reclaimed wood and native stone, the inn features 73 nonsmoking rooms and suites with riverside or panoramic views to Zion’s majestic cliffs from each private terrace or balcony. The large outdoor heated seasonal pool is a refreshing start to the day and the year-round hot tub will soothe sore muscles at the day's end. The inn is located just ¾ mile from the Park entrance and within easy walking distance to town restaurants, shops and galleries.

UPDATE! Zion National Park opens visitor access on the Zion Mt. Carmel Highway. Read this article for details.
In cooperation with Kane County, Zion National Park reopens the east gate after a major rockslide occurred last week. Visitors will be welcomed to enter the park from the east side, at no charge, starting 9am Tuesday, October 6.
Travelers will be able to drive on the scenic Zion Mt. Carmel Highway through the large tunnel and be able to go as far as the Great Arch Overlook, where they will need to turn around to exit back out the east side. Roadside pull-outs for sightseeing and picture taking are encouraged. Canyoneering permits will not be issued for canyons that are accessed from the Zion Mt Carmel Highway due to the delayed response time in the event of an injury.
Although the shuttle and main canyon aren’t accessible from the east side, they can still be reached via the Scenic Drive Access from Springdale.
Kane County Sheriff's Office and Tourism/Events Dept. will be assisting with on-the-ground traffic management, roving patrols, and emergency response. Visitors are urged to be safe, careful, and flexible as we all come together to navigate the challenges created by this natural disaster.

Exciting news! 3HATTRIO is returning to the Town of Springdale, Utah for a Bumbleberry Theatre engagement on September 10th, 2026. Born in the shadows of Zion's red cliffs, 3hattrio emerged in 2013 when teenage violinist Eli Wrankle fell in with veteran musicians Greg Istock and Hal Cannon. They forged their own sound, "American Desert Music." After seven albums, four European tours and a pandemic pause, the trio is reuniting this fall. Limited seating. Tickets available now.

A young visitor made an appearance on the hotel grounds today, to the surprise and delight of our guests. A gentle reminder to please admire wildlife from a respectful distance. Don't approach or feed them––this protects the animals and you.
