Before AQ was a restaurant, it was chickens.
AQ Farms came first. Roy Ritter was in the poultry business here before he opened the first AQ Chicken House in 1947, with Howard Backus serving as Vice President of AQ Farms alongside him.
Arkansas Quality started as a standard for the birds themselves. Springdale built this name long before we got here.

Meet Macybeth, one of our team members!!
Macybeth's AQ order is the BBQ tenders with mac n cheese and fries.
Favorite part of working at AQ? The coworkers, and getting to know our guests. Macybeth loves hearing everybody's stories.
Outside of work it's family and friends, thrifting, taking pictures, collecting figurines, cooking, and exploring new places.

The AQ toy chest is open for business!! 🧸
Bringing the little ones to lunch? Save the toy chest for the end of the meal and watch their faces light up. It's a big part of what makes AQ a family spot.

Our very own AQ House Blend coffee is here!! ☕
We teamed up with our friends at Dodo Coffee Company on a custom AQ blend, and it's in our retail area now. Grab a bag and an AQ mug to go with it. Coffee tastes better in an AQ mug, that's just science.
Hats, candles, egg salt and pepper shakers, our AQ salad dressing and gift cards are on the shelf too.
