2026 COMMUNITY REPORT • PART 1

What can one person really do?

When the needs around us feel so big—and the information never stops—it is easy to wonder whether one person can really make a difference.

Maybe you do not have to do everything.

Maybe you simply need to discover your part.

OUR VISION: "Transformed people, transforming Clark County."

Creating a healthier Clark County takes all of us. 💛

One way we help build a community of hope is by equipping caring people to recognize when someone may be in crisis—and know what to do next.

On November 12, Nehemiah Foundation will offer a free QPR Su***de Prevention Training for anyone who lives or works in Clark County.

QPR—Question. Persuade. Refer.—is a practical, 90-minute training that helps everyday people recognize warning signs of su***de, have a potentially life-saving conversation, and connect someone to the professional, pastoral, and community support they need.

You don’t have to be a counselor to make a difference. You simply need to be willing to notice, listen, and know how to connect someone to help.

📅 November 12 | 3:00–4:30 PM
📍 United Senior Services
125 W. Main St., Springfield

Thanks to generous grant partners, this training is FREE for anyone who lives or works in Clark County.

Together, we can become a community better equipped to see people, respond with compassion, and help one another find hope.
