🍓🧀 A little creativity, a lot of teamwork, and a whole lot of deliciousness!
Last week, our Liberty Hill Kids Club teamed up with 4-H to create their very own charcuterie board! From arranging fresh fruit to putting together all the tasty treats, the kids had a blast bringing their masterpiece to life. 😋
But let’s be honest… we’re pretty sure the best part was getting to eat it afterward! 😂❤️
A big thank-you to Massachusetts 4-H Program for making this fun and memorable experience possible!

🏡 Every family deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. Affordable housing helps families build stability, focus on their goals, and create a brighter future together. When families thrive, our communities grow stronger! 💙
❤️ It takes a community to build a community!
Behind everything Home City does are the people who make it all possible. From our dedicated employees and residents to our Board President and valued partners like Tech Foundry and UMass 4-H, every person plays a role in shaping who we are and what we do.
This video features just a few of the familiar faces who help move Home City forward. We’re grateful for the many other partners and supporters who stand alongside us, even if they didn’t make it into this video!
Together, we’re building something that matters. 🏡

🤝 Building what's next!
Last Wednesday, Home City’s Executive Director, Justin Rudgick, hosted a Meet & Greet to share the story of Home City Development Inc., reflect on our history, and discuss the goals we’re working toward as an organization.
It was a pleasure connecting with community members, hearing their perspectives, and sharing more about the future of Home City. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us! ❤️

🌎 Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day
Today, we honor Indigenous peoples, celebrate their rich cultures and traditions, and recognize their lasting contributions to our communities. It’s a day to reflect, learn, and appreciate the histories and voices that continue to shape our world.
At Home City, we believe that recognizing our diverse histories and experiences helps build stronger, more connected communities. ❤️
❤️ Community is about showing up for one another.
Meet Victor Cortes, a familiar and friendly face in the community who is always willing to lend a helping hand, often volunteering at local food pantries to support those around him.
Through The Giving Table, Victor highlights how access to fresh produce from the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts makes a tremendous difference for local families, especially as the rising cost of living continues to create challenges for many.
At Home City, we believe that when we come together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors. 🥕🥦
Thank you to our partner Food Bank of Western Massachusetts

The Home City crew came together last week for a day filled with fun, laughter, good food, and plenty of memories. Our team got into groups and took on a fun scavenger hunt put together by our Resident Engagement Coordinator, Jessica Solana! 🗺️🔎
It was a great opportunity to enjoy some quality team time. ❤️
From start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience with the HCDI crew! 🙌

Over the past several weeks, our Digital Navigator, Jacob Galarza, has been visiting HCDI communities to host Aervivo Info Sessions at Brookings, Chestnut, Liberty Hill, and Tapley!
These sessions gave residents the opportunity to learn more about the internet plans available at their properties, ask questions, and explore options that can help keep their households connected. 🏠💻
Along the way, residents enjoyed food, participated in raffles, and even earned points through the Union Capital app, which can be redeemed for gift cards through community participation. 🎉🎁
We’re grateful to everyone who came out, asked questions, and took part in these sessions. Creating opportunities to bring information and resources directly to our residents is an important part of building connected communities.
This project was funded by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute at the MassTech Collaborative under the RANGE Program. Funding was provided by Massachusetts ARPA Capital Projects Fund.
