Just wanted to send out a quick reminder that our Chiefs Tailgate Party is happening this Sunday, October 18th, starting at 2 PM!

We’ll have some fun things going on throughout the game, including raffles, giveaways, and a couple of local vendors (Lala Links permanent jewelry & Twisted Treats)!

As far as the raffles go, customers will receive one raffle ticket with each purchase made at any of the food trucks or the Wherehouse Bar! This is a great way to encourage everyone to support all the businesses throughout the event. I'll be dropping off raffle tickets on Sunday to everyone that is open.

We’ll be drawing winners during halftime and again during the 4th quarter!

The giveaways include Chiefs merch, multiple gift cards to a local spa, and a giveaway basket from HOTWORX 🤩

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on how everything will work so we’re all on the same page. We’re excited to have a fun day, bring some extra traffic to the park, and hopefully make it a great event for everyone!

Hello everyone. Starting Friday 10/16 I’ll be starting the Katsudon. It is a popular and comforting Japanese rice bowl dish consisting of a crispy, deep-fried chicken cutlet (chicken katsu) that is simmered in a sweet and savory dashi-based broth with onions, bound together with soft-cooked eggs, and served over a bed of steamed white rice.

We’re teaming up with Where House Bar to throw a Chiefs Tailgate Party at Metro Eats, and we’re bringing a whole lot more than just football.

🍻 The Wherehouse Bar will be pouring game day drink specials.

🌮 Food trucks will be serving up the good stuff.

🛍️ Twisted Treats & Lala Links will be popping up with us.

🎟️ Raffle giveaways will be happening throughout the game, so you might want to stick around.

And of course, we’ll have the game on with plenty of Chiefs Kingdom energy to go around!

Bring your friends, wear your red, come hungry, and make a day out of it.

Because watching the Chiefs at home is fine, but watching them with a whole crowd of Chiefs fans, good food, and cold drinks? A little better. 😉

Hello everyone. Looking like cooler weather is in our future. Now it's time for some comfort food. Which would you prefer first? Katsudon or Katsu Curry? I would do them together, but it's a lot for one person. I think it will start on Friday, 10/16. Looks like the high will be 58, and the high will be in the low 60s for the weekend. My egg steamer came in today so if I figure out how to use this thing, the Mayak eggs will be kicking off soon.

Hello everyone. We will have a late opening. Opening at about 1130. Have to go to the Asian Market to pick up some sake for my Teriyaki sauce. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hello everyone. I have been searching for another appetizer to add. What do you think about Mayak egg (drug egg).

This is a marinated egg with a soft yolk. Similar to a ramen egg. The difference is a Mayak egg is sweet, savory, and a little spicy.

Let me know if this is something you’d be interested in. If not I will keep looking. TIA
