“The world today doesn’t make sense so why should I paint pictures that do?”
~Pablo Picasso

A crazy looking acrylic painting from my scrapbook. Assorted acrylic paints dragged down the page and then outlined in white and black inks. Just fun intuitive creativity.

My Sketchbook fun. Acrylics and white Posca pen. Love these colors together. I’m trying out the paint drops on paper and pulling it down with a plastic scraper.

Hello friends! Painting #4 of my series “Bird’s Eye View”. This is called “Ocean Sparkles”. Watercolor painting on Arches 10x14, 140 lb paper. Thanks for your comments. It helps me stay motivated. ❤️

Trying out some oil pastels. Floral abstracts on black paper. Simple and vibrant.

Today’s art class at the Oak Island Elks. Waves - Ocean Workshop taught by artist Cheryl Austin Hicks 💕. Another inspirational, inspiring, fun, and relaxing lesson!
8x10 acrylic on canvas.

Sunshiny Day! Acrylic paint on 8x10" canvas. I'm trying something different in between my Bird's Eye View pieces. I just started painting with acrylics and wanted to paint something colorful and to experiment. I love vibrant colors and flowers and a surreal look. This is my happy piece. ❤️

"Watch out" Blue Bird painting - #3 in my Bird's Eye View series. Watercolor 12x12. Inspired by my back yard. Although my cats are inside, there are some feral's that like to hang out and torture Tommy & Teaghan and drink out of our bird bath 😂.

Hello friends! Painting #2 of my series “Bird’s Eye View”. This is called “Pelican View”. Watercolor painting, Arches paper. I know a couple of friends who may be familiar with this beach… 😊 The next painting setting may be a lot closer to home. Keep an “eye” out for it .😁 Thanks for any comments. It helps me stay motivated. 🌷❤️
