Paul Walker’s 2004 GMC Sierra

In January 2020, Paul Walker’s personal vehicle collection was auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction. Among the vehicles was this 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD that Paul Walker had personally owned and driven.

Mike Lankford, owner of High Altitude Trucks in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, purchased the truck and set out to create something truly special in Paul’s honor.

The truck underwent a complete, ground-up transformation inspired by Paul Walker’s iconic Nissan Skyline R34 from 2 Fast 2 Furious.

The truck and underside were refinished in the same silver color as the legendary R34, while the frame, suspension components, and engine received blue powder-coated accents to recreate the unmistakable look and feel of the movie car.

Every detail of this tribute build was carefully considered, with countless hours going into the design, fabrication, finishing, and final assembly. The goal was not simply to build another custom truck, but to create a unique tribute that honored Paul Walker, his passion for cars, and the lasting impact he made on automotive culture.

This Independence Day, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States and the freedoms that make the American dream possible.

We’re incredibly grateful to live in a country where hard work, determination, and faith can turn a dream into a business. Every truck we build is a reminder that we’re blessed to do what we love because of the freedoms so many have fought to protect.

To our customers, our team, our families, and especially the brave men and women who have served our nation thank you. Your sacrifice makes everything we do possible.

From all of us at High Altitude Trucks, Happy 4th of July! God bless America. 🇺🇸🎆
