Turning Points Men's Discipleship Program

Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour tonight! An extra hour of rest is always welcome, but tomorrow is another opportunity to get up, show up, and keep moving forward!

Thursday nights at Turning Points are about more than just getting together. They're about brotherhood, accountability, growing in Christ, and reminding one another that none of us has to walk this road alone.

This is what brotherhood looks like.

There’s something special about seeing these men gathered around a table with their Bibles open, seeking the Lord together.

Every man at this table has a past. Every one of them has made mistakes, faced struggles, and walked roads they wish they hadn't. But this morning, they're sitting here seeking something different. And that's what makes this picture so meaningful to me. God is still working in the lives of men that the world may have given up on.

There's a lot of hope sitting around this table.

Saturday, the guys from Turning Points Men's Home had a great time at Worship on the Waterfront! It was a beautiful day filled with worship, fellowship, good food, and plenty of fun!

A special thank you to Christian Worship Center and New Beginnings Church for inviting us out and giving our guys an opportunity to get out, enjoy themselves, and spend time with others in the Lord.

Sometimes it's the simple things that remind us just how good God is! We are truly grateful for everyone who continues to pour into the lives of these men. God is good! 🙌❤️

We are looking for someone who knows how to cut hair and do a good fade who would be willing to volunteer a little time at our Turning Points Men’s Discipleship Program!

A fresh haircut might seem like a small thing, but for the men in our program, it can go a long way in helping them look and feel better as they work toward rebuilding their lives. If you've got the skills and a heart to serve, we'd love to hear from you! Just send us a message. Sometimes making a difference in someone's life is as simple as giving a little of your time and using the gifts God has given you.

😂🔨 SOMETHING TELLS US WE BETTER BRING OUR HARD HATS THIS SUNDAY! 🔨😂 Last Sunday, Pastor Marc Calvert was fresh off his sabbatical, and we think he might've taken it a little easy on us! That little hammer wasn't too bad! 😂 But we've got a sneaking suspicion he's been saving up for THIS Sunday! And judging by the size of that second hammer, WEMIGHT BE IN TROUBLE! 🤣🔨. All jokes aside, we're thankful for a pastor who isn't afraid to preach the truth, even when it steps on our toes!

📖 Jeremiah 23:29 — "Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"

Sometimes God's Word has to break through some hard places in our hearts before He can begin rebuilding us!

Today we want to congratulate one of our brothers here at Turning Points Men's Discipleship Program, Chad Knight, on reaching another milestone in his recovery journey by getting his driver’s license back! 🚗👏 To some, this may seem like a small accomplishment, but to someone rebuilding their life, it represents freedom, responsibility, and progress!

Recovery is about more than leaving the old life behind. It’s about allowing God to build something new, one step at a time.

We’re proud of you, Chad! Keep putting God first and moving forward, brother. God isn't finished with you yet!
