There’s something special about playing at home.
The familiar faces in the stands, the cheers from the crowd, the Friday nights under the lights and the court where so many memories have been made.
For our seniors, this week is about more than the final home games of football and volleyball season. It’s about saying goodbye to a chapter of life that has helped shape who they are.
For years, these athletes have worn Cyclone blue with pride. They’ve put in the early mornings, the long practices, the hard work and the heart it takes to represent Southeast.
They’ve celebrated victories, learned from disappointments, leaned on their teammates and created friendships and memories that will last long after the final whistle and the last point.
And now, in what feels like the blink of an eye, it’s their last time taking the field and stepping onto the court as Southeast Cyclones in front of their home crowd.
Let’s make sure they feel just how much they mean to this school and this community.
Let’s fill the stands, cheer a little louder and show up for these seniors the way they’ve shown up for Southeast.
One day, they’ll look back and remember these moments, these teammates, these fans and the place they called home.
The seasons may end, the uniforms may be hung up and the Friday nights and game days may become memories — but once you’re a Cyclone, you’re always a Cyclone.
