Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Born August 18, 1970 in Jersey City, New Jersey, named after Malcolm X and jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal. Occupations: Actor, musician, poet.

He started acting as a kid and at 14 landed his breakout role as Theodore Huxtable on NBC's The Cosby Show (1984–1992). The role earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Dr. Alex Reed on Reed Between the Lines, Julius Rowe on Suits, Dr. AJ Austin on The Resident (2018-2023) and many more
In 2015 he won a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
He died July 20, 2025 at Playa Cocles, Costa Rica from drowning after being caught in a strong current, at age 54. The image you shared shows him as young Theo on the left, and as an adult — it's a tribute made after his death.
