👥🚍 You See the Bus. We See the Team Behind It.
A bus journey doesn't happen because of one person.
Behind IBL’s daily services are drivers, dispatchers, traffic supervisors, cleaners, shunter drivers, cashiers, administrators, technical teams and many others working in different roles.

Some you meet every day. Others work behind the scenes.
This Transport Month, we say thank you to the people behind the journey. 💙

👏 If you know an IBL team member who deserves a shout-out, mention them below.

💙🚌 Can You Make Someone’s Journey Better Today?
Sometimes it takes something very small.

Make room for someone who needs it. Keep the aisle clear. Keep your belongings close. Be patient while passengers board and get off. Treat your fellow passengers and IBL staff with respect.

When many people share one journey, a little consideration goes a long way.
A better journey isn’t only about where we’re going. It’s also about how we travel together.

🚌👏 The Person Behind the Wheel Carries More Than Passengers
Every IBL driver takes on an important responsibility when they start their shift: getting passengers where they need to go.

Behind every familiar face in the driver’s seat are hours spent on the road serving people travelling to work, school, appointments, shops and home.
This Transport Month, we recognise our drivers and the role they play in keeping our communities connected.

💙 Do you have an IBL driver who always makes your journey a little better? Give them a shout-out in the comments.

📍🚌 Work? Campus? Shopping? Home?
Every day, IBL passengers board our buses for different reasons.
Some are starting a working day. Others are heading to class, appointments, the shops or visiting family. And for many, the best trip of the day is simply the one that takes them home. 💙

So for Transport Month, we want to hear from you:
👇 Where does your IBL journey take you most often – and why is that journey important to you?

Tell us in the comments.

🔥🚌 Good food, good music and a well-deserved day together!
Our IBL Driver’s Braai Day was a chance to put the routes and schedules aside for a little while and simply enjoy some time together.

There was plenty happening around the braai, with the IBL team getting involved in the cooking, sharing a meal and enjoying some live music. 🎶🥩

Most importantly, it was an opportunity to recognise our drivers and the important role they play at IBL every day. They are behind the wheel early in the morning, late in the day and across the many routes that keep our communities moving.

Thank you to our drivers for your commitment, hard work and service to our passengers. We hope you enjoyed the day and judging by the braai, nobody went home hungry! 😄🔥

Ya Rona! 💙🚌
