Additionally, staff will have dedicated time for training and professional development.

This week, our schools participated in Red Ribbon Week, the nation's oldest and largest annual drug-use prevention awareness campaign. CSD is pleased to partner with the Decatur Prevention Initiative and other organizations to provide prevention services for students. To commemorate the week, Beacon Hill students and staff were caught twinning, flashing back or fast-forwarding to the 90's, and wearing red. At DHS, students made pledges to Stay Drug Free for the people they love. The official 2026 Red Ribbon Week™ theme is, "Make A Difference. Be A Hero. Stay Drug Free."
