Zion Lutheran Church & School Decatur

This Sunday!

Our families truly appreciate you, Pastor Zach Oedewaldt!! You truly make our church and school something to cherish and for which to be thankful! THANK YOU for all you do to bring us God's Holy Word!!

As part of Pastor Appreciation month, the school students showered Pastor today with balloons. Pastor may have gone on a dinosaur balloon ride, too. Check it out!! 😊

Trunk or Treat on Halloween, 5:30-7:30! Set-up by 5:00. Cookies, hot chocolate, and c***r for all who join us from around town!

What a wonderful time at the Calithumpian Parade! Feel free to add any more pictures to the comments if you took any you’d like to share.

Calithumpian Parade update and details: We are #79 in Stratton. Streets begin to close off at 5:30. Feel free to bring candy to pass out. Kids must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian. Please do NOT plan on just dropping off your kids.

Shirts for the Zion students will be sent home with them on Monday, but please also remember to dress appropriately for the weather. Everybody else can pick up the shirts you ordered on Sunday at Church. After the parade, we will all gather at Haggard, Hirschy & Zelt Funeral home for pickup.

Every week, our staff lifts up a circuit within the Indiana District in prayer. This week, we invite you to join us in praying for Circuit 9: Decatur, which includes the following congregations:
