Kid's First Child Care Ministry

Happy Early Childcare Educator and Childcare Provider Appreciation Day! We love our staff!

Just a reminder!

Make yourself aware!

🚨 PARENTS, WAKE UP: nobody prepared us for this level of chaos!

HFMD (hand foot and mouth disease) is out here acting like a full blown Halloween villain right now 💀AND YES This is a virus you can continue to get unless you clean PROPERLY!!

Before you assume let’s go over the real tea:

1. It goes everywhere. Hands, feet, mouth? Try thighs, arms, and the entire diaper area. If blisters are open YOUR STILL CONTAGIOUS.
(Even if there is no fever)

2. ADULTS can get it. AND honey, it will HUMBLE YOU. Wash your hands like you’re prepping for surgery after EVERY diaper change! (It stays in the stool for up to 3 months)

3. The 3 week jump scare...
Weeks after they recover, their fingernails might start peeling or popping off. It looks terrifying, but it's harmless and they grow right back!

4. Popsicles are sacred. Swallowing hurts like lava, so ice pops, smoothies, and cold water are your best friends.

5.Soap/Sanitize. Wipe down the high touch toys and scrub with actual soap and water (sanitizer doesn't always kill this virus!).

6. By the time you realize your child has it, you've already spread it to four other people... You'll never know where it began . But it can end with you ! CLEAN PROPERLY PLEASE.

Besties, save yourself the sanity, stock up on Popsicles, bleach, sanitizers and SHARE THIS to someone you know with children 💛
