🩺💙 From Juniors to Seniors — More Than Just Skills, It’s Relationships!

One of my favorite parts of teaching Medical Assisting is watching students grow from their junior year to their senior year. The skills they learn are important, but the relationships we build along the way are what make this journey so special. ❤️

When they first walk into my classroom as juniors, we are all getting to know each other. They are learning new medical skills, adjusting to the expectations of the program, and figuring out what it means to be a healthcare professional.

Then, before you know it, they are seniors! 🎓 They are more confident, more independent, more comfortable in the lab, and ready to take on new challenges. But what makes me the proudest is seeing how much they have grown as people.

We’ve shared laughs, challenges, successes, frustrations, celebrations, and plenty of learning moments. Along the way, we build trust, encourage one another, and create a classroom community where students know they are supported.

They may leave my classroom, but the relationships and memories will always stay. ❤️
