Today our LDE teams traveled to Tarleton for contest. There were a couple thousand students there, and Victory FFA represented well! Skills brought home 1st place, Greenhand Creed placed 4th out of 24 individuals, senior radio placed 6th and greenhand radio placed 8th out of 21 teams. It was an early morning, but another great day! Now to rest for the weekend and then get ready to the final stretch of practices before our last invitational and District!

Our floral department has been busy busy bees the last few weeks. From making the October arrangements for our staff, public and sponsors, to the centerpieces for Blue Ribbon Bash and then squeezing in a floral cup today at Dublin! Even Mrs. Rainey took a chance to compete today. While we didn't bring home a banner, there has been so much growth, memories, and skills made with each project!

Our first, hopefully annual, trunk or treat was a success! We had so many families come and such cute and unique trunk setups. Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this happen, and looking forward to it growing next year!!
